Jagex’s Spaceone (Mod Markg) has warned Stellar Dawn fans about SD scam e-mails:

Guys, just wanted you to be aware that there is a scam email going round with pictures lifted from the website and text informing players that they have been selected as a Beta tester. Clearly this stinks to high heaven and isn’t from Jagex. Hovering over the link shows that the address includes a link to STELARdawn.
